DANIEL E. HAU, CPA, PRESIDENT & MANAGING PARTNER

Dan Hau founded the firm in 1981, having gained experience in auditing with one of the "Big Eight" accounting firms and as the Director of the Department of Audit for Milwaukee County. Dan graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with majors in Accounting and Finance.

In addition to accounting and auditing, Dan works extensively in business consulting with a particular emphasis on financial projections, business valuations, succession planning, tax strategizing, and estates and trusts. He is a member of The American and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, Franklin Educational Foundation and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce (MMAC).

Dan enjoys billiards, golf, singing karaoke, and traveling with his wife Ruth, both in the U.S. and abroad. He is a doting grandfather of Korri, Tallon, Willow, Zi, Ari, Lilah, Lorelei, Violet, Theia, Sawyer, and Cassie.

SHERRY REISENAUER-STILLMAN , CPA, PRINCIPAL

Sherry has 25 years of experience in Accounting. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business administration, majoring in Accounting. Sherry manages accounting and auditing engagements. While she serves a variety of clients, Sherry has special expertise in working with not-for-profit firms, many of which are Choice or Charter Schools. Sherry also specializes in all types of accounting services, accounting software selection, audits, reviews and compilations and payroll services. She is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.

Sherry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA), the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Metropolitan Builders Association.

KEVIN HABLEWITZ, CPA, PRINCIPAL

Kevin has over 20 years experience in the field of accounting and manages the tax department at Hau & Associates, SC. His specialties include tax planning, representation in tax matters, business entity selection, and consulting to a variety of firms on accounting and tax matters. Kevin frequently attends conferences and seminars to stay abreast of ever changing tax laws and is called to speak on a variety of tax related subjects. Kevin is a 1989 graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting.

KEVIN GAFFNEY, CPA, PRINCIPAL

Kevin has 17 years experience in the field and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. His postgraduate education includes additional studies in the areas of internal and quality control, fraud, auditing, and taxation. Kevin works with a variety of clients focused in the manufacturing, not-for-profit, school, and other service industries. He oversees audit, review, compilation, consulting, and retirement plan engagements as well as providing income tax planning preparation services.

Kevin serves on the board of directors of the Franklin Educational Foundation. In addition to spending his time with his family, he also enjoys golf, softball, and most outdoor activities.
